What to expect from Hangover IV Therapy
This mix of vitamins and medications helps to relieve the nagging symptoms of a hangover like nausea, vomiting, and headache while also replenishing lost electrolytes and fluids as alcohol naturally dehydrates the body. Toradol is a first-generation nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that helps to relax smooth muscle and provide analgesic (pain relief) throughout the body. Zofran helps to decrease nausea by blocking the release of serotonin which often causes excess nausea and vomiting. For clients who are experiencing increased symptoms of nausea and vomiting, recommend adding an additional bag of fluid. Clients with chronic or acute migraines also find this IV helpful. Adding Benadryl and magnesium also help to improve migraine/headache symptoms.
